NOQAN KANI History
The Global Dream
Noqan Kani is the continuation of a legacy passed down generation after generation from our ancestors, with the last person carrying this in our community being Papakay. His dream was for this powerful legacy to continue being passed on for generations to come – no longer just within our local community of Chinchero, but for a whole global family. The prayer of Noqan Kani was to become a school & community of light-hearted people who would be the medicine and leaders for the times to come worldwide. Puma, along with his family & circle of powerful healers is honored & priviledged to be continuing this legacy of Papakay.

Our Community Learning Center
Puma Quispe Singona was trained by his grandfather, the late Don Maximo Singona (known as “Papakay”) since the age of 6, learning and mastering the Andean traditions and rituals. Puma exudes a passion for the ancestral Incan teachings and has a profound respect for the Global Awakening Consciousness. He has attended and facilitated numerous International gatherings of Spiritual Leaders and Young Leaders with YES (Youth for Environmental Sanity) and is featured in books and films about the Andean Medicine Path in Peru; e.g. The Reality of Truth and The Puma and the Flower. He is a co-founder of Cusi Huayna, a cultural organization that teaches tradition to Quechua youth and the founder of WILLCA, a cultural and healing center for youth in Chinchero. Along with the Pumadventures Team, they lead groups from around the globe on spiritual pilgrimages visiting sacred sites for self-transformation and rebirth processes.
Although building a community learning center for Noqan Kani was projected a long time ago, the first brick of the building was laid in our village of Chinchero in 2011. The project gradually progressed as funds became available and, when finally nearing completion in 2020, we entered into the global pandemic where everything was halted. This proved to become a massive blessing, transforming the vision to expand by developing an online platform, allowing us to reach our global community; a far more expanded reach than if it was conditioned only to those who could travel and visit Peru.
Today we are happy and blessed to offer the opportunity for our global family to do both.

Papakay Don Maximo Singona Pumayalli
“Papakay was a very powerful midwife and healer in Chinchero whose passion was the wellbeing, protection and caring for the whole global family. He was proud to do that while also passing on timeless rituals, teachings and ceremonies to his grandson (Puma) to look after the planet once he was no longer living here. He wished to share about his communion with powerful ancestral spirits & spirit allies, and to impart his passion for living life in a sacred way. Papakay believed it was vital in these times for the new generations to remember that if we always live in communion and with respect to Mother Earth, then we would be living a blessed life, a healthy life, and most importantly, a life in service.”
